Her research focuses on using natural materials for health promotion, with extensive studies on the chemical composition of Estonia’s curative mud and balneological peat. She has published 60 articles and two edited collections. From 2012 to 2023, she worked as a mud products development laboratory expert at the Centre of Excellence in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation, where she researched the applications of curative mud and peat in cosmetics and health products.

At the ESPA Congress, she will give a lecture: “Digital wellbeing at work”.

Originally focused on paleolimnology and sedimentology, his work now encompasses ecohydrology, water management, and ecosystem services, with a focus on climate change, environmental education, citizen science practices, and digital learning tools. 
He is also cooperating with the Haapsalu College and the Centre of Excellence in Health Promotion and Rehabilitation.
