We are pleased to announce a new partnership between the European Spas Association and the Bled Water Forum (BWF), joining forces to advance global excellence in drinking, mineral, and spa waters.

The Bled Water Forum is currently leading several international initiatives focused on:
• New frameworks for drinking water quality
• Mineralization and classification profiles
• Source protection and public water excellence
• Advanced certification systems for institutions and facilities offering high-quality drinking water
• Education and development of water sommeliers and water technologies

We strongly believe that the European spa sector – with its deep heritage, scientific knowledge, and operational expertise – represents one of the most advanced real-world applications of mineral and natural waters for health, wellbeing, prevention, and medical tourism. This makes ESPA a natural and essential partner in shaping the future of water standards.

Together, we aim to co-create:
Global quality standards for drinking and spa waters
Classification and mineralization frameworks connecting health, wellness, and public water systems
A new certification system for destinations and facilities offering exceptional drinking and mineral waters across hospitality, spa, medical, and public environments

This cooperation will connect scientific, regulatory, and operational perspectives into a coherent European and global reference framework for water excellence.

UAB Druskininkų Rasa extracts natural mineral water in one of the oldest and best-known resorts – Druskininkai, located in protected areas. UAB Druskininkų RASA extracts and bottles the well-known natural mineral water RASA. During the congress, we will invite you to enjoy light mineralization natural mineral water RASA LIGHT and medium mineralization natural mineral water RASA ETNO.

RASA LIGHT. In the depths of the earth, natural mineral water RASA LIGHT is saturated with mineral substances – calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium. Due to the delicately balanced amount of these substances, the water is pure, has a mild taste, and is not salty. Especially suitable for refreshment. This water is particularly pure, it does not contain nitrites or nitrates, which is why it is suitable even for the production of baby food.

Natural mineral water RASA ETNO – medium mineralized water with a naturally increased amount of calcium, magnesium, sodium and a sufficient amount of potassium in its composition. It is a natural mineral water that can improve digestion, remove unnecessary waste from the body, reduce the risk of cramps, irritability. Since natural mineral water has an increased calcium content, it is important for strengthening bones and teeth.
